Elizabeth Arden Flawless Instant Perfecting Primer |Review

‘Two weekends ago I brought the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Instant Perfecting primer. I immediately compared it with the Benefit PoreFessional primer…only because of the colour and texture that are similar. Like I said in my recent youtube video (click here to watch:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBivLAZEJAo) I really enjoy the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Instant Perfecting primer…I enjoyed it a bit more than the Benefit PoreFessional primer to be honest. But I know why…I have dry/dehydrated skin with a slightly oily T-panel. For me, my personal use the Benefit PoreFessional primer is too drying (my skin looks dry /flakey by the end of the day) I do not have extremely visible pores and I do not suffer with a oily/acned/textured skin…if this is your skin tone and skin type I think the PoreFessional will be the best primer for you, but if you still want it to be moisturising and hydrating the Elizabeth Ardern’s primer will be a better suit. IMG_5903

I recently tested my theory on clients too…my one client who has an extremely oily skin…I am talking about oily ladies, she struggle with the perfect foundation (nothing lasts) her skin shines constantly and her pores is quite big. She LOVES the Benefit Porefessionall primer, it has no drying effect on her skin, she loves the mattefying look it gives her, and it even out her texture. She also has some redness/discolouration and with this primer she feels it evens out any discolouration. With the Elizaberth Arden Primer she felt it achieving the result she wanted (matte, no shine) Another client again, with a Combination skin (oily T-zone) felt “ok” with the Porefessioanl…some area on her skin was perfect after applying (no shine, uneven skin) but on other areas her skin looked flaky. And with the Elizabeth Arden she prefer using it over the Porefessional. Her skin looked hydrated, no flakiness and still no visible shininess or uneven skin.

The Elizabeth Arden Flawless primer feels so soft my skin, it moves easily and fills in my fine lines. It almost feels as if it contains a some oils, because my skin feel so hydrated after I have applied it. My make-up lasts the whole day, and my skin does look smooth after applying my make-up. When using the Elizabeth Primer my skin still looks hydrated/healthy glow, where with the Benefit there is “NO SHINE” its completely matte. So in the end it it what you prefer personally, I love a healthy glowing skin..so I know the Porefessioanl is “too mattefying” for me, also I have dry skin…so with the Porefessioanl my skin is going to look more dull and flakey if I apply. This is why I prefer using the Elizabeth Arden on my skin – my skin still looks moistured, and glow…but has no “shiny T-zone and uneven texture”.

I hope this helped a bit, here is what I got of the Elizabeth Arden website: http://www.elizabetharden.com/Flawless-Start-Instant-Perfecting-Primer/1002PIRC401,default,pd.html#learn-more
